Overall solid horn. I'm in high school and play on the Yamaha intermediate horn. When I tried the Xeno, it felt like the intermediate but slightly worse on everything. With that being said, I agree with everyone else, each player is different and you should just try the horn yourself. I tried a YSL-882GO with gold brass bell on Saturday and in the short time I had with it noticed very little difference between its sound and the sound of my Conn 88H from 1993. Maybe an ever-so-slightly superior responsiveness and clarity with my triple-tonguing exercises, but that was about it.
