I watched Gents Scents review of Y Le Parfum and he said something similar - that Y La Parfum is the more grown up version of Y EDP. Both still very similar to each other and with the same Y DNA but the La Parfum being less shouty and . There’s a huge difference to my nose. The apple sweetness in opening has been removed making it less sweet and they added vetiver, which adds a green dryness that makes it smells a a bit disjointed.
