I had got confirmation from Rolex USA itself as of last week. They may even still have your bracelet in stock. They have the bracelet in stock for my 1969 Rolex 1500 cased OP with the 1570. I recently acquired a Datejust with a cal. 1570 movement, circa 1977. Am I correct to assume there is no quick-set feature? And the big question: will I damage the movement setting it backwards (like if today is the 30th but the date on the watch indicates the 5th)? Yes those old 1570's run and run. I think it has something to do with the simplicity, no quickset, no hack lever. Real meat and potatoes, designed solely for accuracy and durability.
