I agree the reformulations of Dior Homme Intense have been for the worse. I still like the recent or current version(s), but the original did smell more like chocolate to me. You might prefer Dior Homme Parfum or even Fahrenheit Parfum which have more of the depth, richness, and complexity of original Dior Homme Intense, to my nose. I cherished my bottle of a Dior Homme intense 2017 batch long enough so i could get a 2021 and do an honest unbiased side by side comparison, unlike many people in the community that get paranoid or weird, and i can say they are absolutely the same. Dior Homme Intense has already been reformulated 3 times since 2007: 2007-2010: 03214/A. 2011-2014: 05443/A. 2014-mid 2017: 08666/A. mid 2017-Current: 10950/A.
