I have a Breitling Aerospace that was purchased in 2002. I have replaced the battery many times, but my question is: How long will the watch continue to function once the display begins flashing? I have all LED displays/sounds off to try and preserve as much battery .

Just performed my 1st self battery and gasket swap today. I've left the watch on date display continously for almost 4 years and started to get the blinking EOL last week. Did the replacement myself today. While tedious, if one has the tools and parts it's a simple procedure in about 30 minutes. Reliable and efficient with a longlife 3-5 year battery life. Multi functional with minute repeater, 2nd time zone, chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, calendar and backlight. Feel... Take it to a local Breitling Boutique and have them ship it to Breitling's Service Center. The battery/gasket replacement will set me back ~0. Also because of the supply chain/'Rona issues. turnaround is looking to be 8-10 weeks.
