K+ Your wrist size accommodates the Explorer well within reasonable means. I . I have a flat 7 inch wrist and I love the idea of a smaller wat h but every time I try on a 36mm datejust/ op / explorer they feel too small on my wrist. I ended up with the 39mm explorer which I sometimes feel is almost too big to my eye but looks perfect in the mirror. It looks great on your wrist. The 36mm Explorer is designed to wear on the small side, so it does not get in the way of whatever you are doing, be it mountain climbing or desk surfing. You are supposed to see both watch face and bracelet when you look at the dial. Here is is on my 6.75” wrist.
Your wrist size accommodates the Explorer well within reasonable means. I have owned a neo vintage 14270 Explorer as well as the 39mm (which I felt was larger than the original design and lacked the “style” of the 36mm), and finally my current Explorer, a 2021 era 124270 36mm on my 7.25” wrist.
My wrist is 7 inches, so smaller than yours, and I think a 36mm watch looks too small on me. I prefer 39-41mm but nothing larger than that. As a general rule, I'd say 36mm is somewhat small for your size wrist. I have a 7.5-7.75 inch wrist and find 36 mm to be too small for my tastes. I can wear it and have, but, it is like clothes that don't fit right, you might be able to wear them but you just know it is not right.I have a 7.25in wrist and the 41 seems too big and 36 slightly small for my taste when I've tried them on. In general I view watches over 40mm a bit outdated size wise unless it's a diver style watch where the rotating bezel takes up a lot of the real . The Oysterquartz is also reassuringly chunky, coming in at 13.5mm thick and feeling just as weighty as a modern automatic sports watch. The only negative about how the watch wears is the length of each bracelet link. To fit my 7-inch wrist, I only have six links present on each side of the clasp.
Just wanted to see photos of the new rolex explorer on a 7” wrist. If you have them, please show it off! Thanks! I recently tried a 36mm Explorer on my 7” wrist and to me it looked very small (probably because I’m used to seeing my 42mm Explorer II). Regardless, I love a smaller watch and am glad to see others not caring as well. Wow that looks insanely perfect! I have a .
I've had both and prefer the 36 by a fair margin on my 7.25 inch wrist. If you go with the 36, you really have to wear for a week or so and give your brain time to adjust to the look. Once it does, at least for me, the 36 just seems absolute perfection.
